You will find Savannah’s Restaurant when you search for steak restaurants.

Dinners and nights out are times to cherish with loved ones and friends, and that special time is all the merrier with delicious meals consisting of steak, seafood, pasta and good wine. The beautiful and historic location of Savannah’s restaurant in Trenton provides a welcoming dining experience with a lush wine selection.  The wine list now includes Red and White wines from around the world, as well as some very unique California selections and some from right here in Michigan.  Craft beers and ales are stocked in Savannah’s bar, again some of the best from Bells, Atwater, and Arcadia brewed in Michigan.  Savannah’s bar is also the birthplace of the “Detroit Mule”, featuring Vernors, Valentines Vodka, and Atwater Dirty Blonde, all combined in a frosty copper mug.

The Savannah estate home itself is aged to perfection with a rich history dating all the way back to 1897. Though many things about the actual house have changed since then, the rich and inviting atmosphere has endured.

Co-owner Laurie Dixon describes the restaurant as “old world elegance.” She continues, “The 118-year-old three story Victorian house is often likened to a smaller version of the Whitney in Detroit.” Laurie and co-owner Joe Dixon have made the Savannah house a Downriver staple by providing some of the best prime rib and freshest seafood in Trenton since October 2014.  Savannah’s chefs are also creating new recipes and cuisine that varies by the season and uses fresh herbs from Savannah’s own greenhouse.

In addition to its world-class menu and breath-taking ambiance, Savannah’s offers a variety of special events, such as wine pairing dinners throughout the year and Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve dining for both family parties as well as office parties. A special menu is provided for Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Mother’s Day, Easter, and Valentine’s Day.  Savannah’s also provides exquisite catering; carryout favorites for groups of all sizes; and customizable entrees, including “gluten free” versions of nearly every dish. With a full-bodied history, exciting dishes, and gorgeous seasonal decor, Savannah’s brings a little bit of Southern hospitality to Detroit and Downriver residents.
